Dr. Mark Richman is an anesthesiologist practicing at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California. He has provided Anesthesia services at Community Memorial Hospital since 1987 and has twice served as the Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology. He has been board certified with the American Board of Anesthesiologists since 1982.
Dr Richman is also a Colonel with the United States Air Force where he serves as Chief of Aeorospace Medicine 115 Fighter Wing, Truax Fiels, WI ANG. He has served four deployments.
Dr. Richman earned his MD at the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1977. He did a rotating Medical/Surgical internship at Los Angeles County/U.S.C. Medical Center 1977-1978. His residency was at the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas, in Anesthesiology 1979-1980.
Dr. Richman is a Volunteer Staff Attending at Los Angeles/U.S.C. Medical Center in Los Angeles California. He teaches residents in both MD and RFNA programs.
Dr. Richman also has extensive global medicine experience. He served on a neurosurgical trauma mission to Bosnia-Herzegovina during the Civil War there, a multi-surgical mission to Tenwick Hospital in Kenya, and a primary care/minor surgical mission to Belize.
